Do you encrypt the email itself, or send in a secure email?
Please help?

You can use SSL digital certificates.

or

If you're crazy enough, and your message short enough, you can also apply a cypher to the text of your message and somehow let your recipient know in another way what the cypher is. That'll keep most but the code-cracking-as-a-hobby people off your message.

I think the "answer" above might be a bot. If not, then he's basically right. I use http://www.hushmail.com and have since I've been in network security which is off and on for about 5 years now. A lot of information is automatically encrypted and they provide a public key for you to use, and you can also upgrade to packages, etc..
